In accordance with article 17 of the Commercial Code, there are four types of mercantile entities:
- Anonymous Society (S.A.),
- Limited Liability (S.R.L or LTDA),
- Commandite or limited partnership (S.E.S.)
- General partnership (S.E.C.)
